Researchers encounter life and death in unexpected ways. Seán was a great friend who was immensely knowledgeable and passionate about Dublin and Crumlin, his lifelong place of residence. Seán was also a great friend of the river Poddle and passionate about anything to do with the river. He taught me how to walk anywhere and be filled with the mere joy of walking and connecting with our surroundings.
